No. Each Gravity Grabber comes with dry wall anchors and screws for installation. Each Gravity Grabber has holes for up to 6 dry wall anchors and screws. This allows heavy gear, such as skis and snowboards, to securely hang with no problems.

This is a great solution if you like to keep your gear organized! I was nervous about the install spacing since there wasn’t a lot of guidance provided but just go one grabber at a time, test fitting as you go and all will be good. It was also unfortunate that a 4-pack wasn’t an option. Great product overall!
We spent way too long looking at every possible way to hang skis on a wall before picking the one we started with: the Gravity Grabber. Easy to hang, easy to use.
Feels a bit cheap: the plastic is lightweight, and the motion of the paddles makes it pretty clunky before you get it hung up. But so far it seems to do what we want, and the only real downside is we only have two pairs of skis to hang.
I originally bought some of these for my parents when I was reorganizing their garage. The grabbers were so easy to install and so clean and slick-looking, I bought some for myself, too. Solid, handy, tidy and includes high-quality hardware.
Great, wish they were slightly wider as my poles are hard to get around the bindings with some rocker skis or larger bindings
Easy to mount on the wall, solid construction, and best they hold the skis together without compressing the camber. Also works for my water ski.
